TV Wrap: The Block bring homes ratings week and Sunday night in win for Nine
The Block took out overall programming on Sunday evening, bringing home another win in overall share for Nine with 975,00 metro viewers and leading all three key advertising demos.
The Block was also the top-rated metro show in total people for last week, bringing in 1.005 million viewers in its Sunday episode.

Meanwhile, Nine came out in front for the week ending 29 October, with a network share of 31.7%, over Seven’s 27.0%, while ABC finished the week with a 17.4% share, followed by Ten on 15.7%.
Nine also won the primary channel share for the week, with a 22.5% share, just beating out Seven’s 19.1%, while the top multi-channel for the week was 7TWO on 3.8%.

Next in entertainment was Australia’s Got Talent on Seven, which brought in 518,000 metro viewers, followed by ABC’s Inside the Sydney Opera House, with 339,000 metro viewers and Seven special, Prince Andrew: Banished, on 293,000 metro viewers,
The Cold Coast 500 Supercars Championship brought in 270,000 metro viewers for Seven, while the network’s Border Security: Australia’s Frontline, saw 262,000 metro viewers tune in, just ahead of 258,000 metro viewers for ABC’s Significant Others, with Ten’s The Traitors bringing in 225,000 metro viewers.
Meanwhile, Seven News topped news programming, with 871,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News with 774,000 and 60 Minutes on Nine with 515,000 metro viewers. ABC News had 510,000 tune in, while Nine News late brought in 266,000 metro viewers.
As noted, Nine won the evening, with 35.8% overall network share ahead of Seven’s 29.2%, with ABC on 31.1% share, and Ten on 12.9% share.
Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 9Gem with a share of 3.7%.
