Wilson joined Meerkats after 18 months at The Brand Agency, where he created the highly acclaimed ‘Hungry Puffs’ campaign for the WA Foodbank.

Since joining Wunderman Thompson/Meerkats from Bonfire five years ago, Williams has worked as an art director.

Recently, this duo blitzed the stage at the PADC Awards.

Back in October, Wunderman Thompson, Perth, scooped back-to-back Siren Awards rounds, with their latest radio campaign “Dracula Comes to the Crown”, promoting the West Australian Ballet season of Dracula. The agency previously won Round 2 for its Anglicare WA, Winter Appeal campaign.

The 30-second ad called “The Buffet” by Wilson and Williams, was awarded overall and single winner with its humorous take on Dracula phoning Crown to enquire about their international buffet.

“Dracula Comes to the Crown” was the campaign winner and is a light-hearted take on the legendary vampire enjoying a stay at the modern hotel.

Two more ads from the same campaign, “Bloody Mary” and “The Room”, were highly commended in the single winner category.

Wilson and Williams will launch their agency in early January.

And executive creative director Joe Hawkins is reportedly transferring to the Sydney office in the first half of 2022 from Wunderman Thompson Perth.
