Tuesday’s TV ratings race closes up
Despite the absence of Packed To The Rafters, Seven still won Tuesday night’s TV ratings, although in a much closer race.
Ten had an good night, and Nine’s weak Tuesday lineup – three episodes of Two and A Half Men, Wipeout and much-repeated Aussie movie The Castle – continued to struggle, according to prelimnary OzTam TV ratings
Last night’s peak share: Seven 29.8%; Ten 28.2%; Nine 24.5% ; ABC 14% ; SBS 3.6%.
Although Ten looks to fight its ratings battles on younger demographics, it is having one of its most competitive weeks of the year across the board, although it is still narrowly in third place. Network share this week so far: Nine 27.2%; Seven 26.7%; Ten 26.4%; ABC 14%; SBS 3.6%.
Tonight should see another tight ratings battle with Nine’s final episode of The Farmer Wants A Wife head-to-head with Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent. Meanwhile, the ABC will also be in the mix with its strong Wednesday lineup of Spicks And Specks, adland show The Gruen Transfer and the heavily promoted Lawrenece Leung’s Choose Your Own Adventure.
