Seven lands exclusive rights to ICC World Test Championship Final 2023
The Seven Network has secured exclusive Australian broadcast and digital rights to the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 between Australia and India in June.

The agreement with the International Cricket Council will see the eagerly anticipated Ultimate Test between the two highest-ranking sides in the world shown live and free on Seven and 7plus.
The gripping final will be shown here in prime time from 7 June to 11 June, with a reserve day in place (12 June), and will take place on neutral territory at The Oval in London. The Oval is one of the most iconic Test venues in the world with a rich history, having already hosted 104 Tests.
India is determined to make up for its loss in the inaugural World Test Championship Final to New Zealand in 2021, while the Australian team has its sights set firmly on taking the World Test Championship mace.
Managing director Seven Melbourne and head of network sport, Lewis Martin, said: “The showdown between Australia and India will be one of the great moments in international sport this year and we are honoured to be partnering with the ICC to bring all the action to Australians, live, free and exclusive on Seven and 7plus.
“The ICC World Test Championship is the premier competition in Test cricket. The prospect of playing in the final has been a big motivator for the Australian team in recent years, while India is focused squarely on taking the mace after its 2021 loss.
“The fierce rivalry between Australia and India, played out at an iconic venue, will make this a competition that no Australian sports fan will want to miss,” he said.
ICC chief commercial officer, Anurag Dahiya said: “We are delighted to partner with the Seven Network to bring the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 to our fans in Australia. The second edition of the Ultimate Test is set to be a momentous occasion, and we can’t wait to see who will be crowned the new World Champions.”
